Mishya Austin is a Black-American Event Manager and content creator based in the Saint Louis metropolitan area. She is motivated by bringing communities together to unite at the heart of the arts, entertainment, content, and commerce.
A seasoned strategist in the experiential space, she currently serves as an Event Producer at Build-A-Bear, where she crafts engaging, brand-centered experiences. Her knack for scaling high-impact events was on full display during her tenure at The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival-JUICE. As Event Manager and Assistant Creative Producer, she thoughtfully aligned content with event strategy to center Hip-Hop culture, effectively driving attendance from 7,000 to 10,000 guests.
She is seeking opportunities to continue growing as an innovative leader in this space with clients and companies that share her community-oriented values.
She is a graduate of Alabama A&M University, where she co-founded the Juice Hip-Hop Exhibition. Which she continues to build today as an experiential and interactive exhibit based on the art forms of hip-hop.

The festival was the Rucker Park of Hip-Hop. My time there was solidifying the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival (Juice).
For a week long, over 10,000 plus hip-hop lovers travel to the planet of Brooklyn as a tribe to experience Hip-Hop at it’s purest through concerts, conferences, exhibitions, and community gatherings.
